Mariposa Mission

Handing out food after a service

Handing out food after the service

One of our objectives here  is to give the person who is volunteering  an opportunity to grow and learn.  At the same time be a giver not just a taker, so far this has been accomplished. We have had people stop here at the Mission who have been homeless or without a job.  We have helped  them and they in turn helped us with work that needed to be done.

Our Annual Woopie Pie Festival was a wonderful success in November, we met many from our community and had a wonderful time. What is a woopie pie ? Come and find out on November 4th and 5th 2011

Many wonderful things are planned for the buildings that are in need of renovation. The first building that we hope to start working on is the old farm house. We named it "Pop's House" in honor of wonderful Pastor by the name of Kenneth Thralls. The other project is to renovate the area we use for sorting, washing sewing and packing clothes

We look forward for folks who are able to spend a week or two with us to advance the mission work here at Mariposa. If you or someone is interested e-mail us and we will send an application.

We invite missionaries coming from or going to Mexico to stay and rest in quiet comfort here. Or if you are a mission volunteer going south, plan to stay with us and get to know what we are about.

COMMING SOON RV SPACES FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE

We are hard at work  on the RV spaces, we plan on having a place for snow birds ( retirees from the North ) come with their RVS, stay the winter and enjoy the warm weather. If you prefer to stay just a day or two and visit, we have a place for you too.

COME AND STAY OR JUST SAY HELLO.
